New Year's Resolutions: Mom Edition
The holidays are coming to an end and a brand new year is starting fresh! Whether 2019 was everything you hoped for or a little less, 2020 has good vibes all around it. We definitely think this new year will be extra special! Now, what’s a new year without some resolutions? We want to challenge all you super moms to pick a few resolutions and really succeed this upcoming year!
Here are a few ways to conquer your 2020 resolutions:
Be selective!
A lot of the times, people compile a long list of resolutions thinking more is more, but in reality, it’s so much easier to accomplish just a few resolutions at a time. We suggest picking 1-3 resolutions that you find extremely important. This way, you can really focus on accomplishing what you’ve prioritized to better yourself on in the new year!
Be realistic!
Even superheroes can’t do it all! When choosing your new year’s resolutions, think about how likely you are to follow through. If you work 40 hours a week, it might be difficult to plan on working out everyday and also cooking every single meal. Whether it’s making dinner four nights a week instead of eating out, or going to the park with your kids at least every other week, pick a resolution that will better yourself in a simple way! It doesn’t have to be a drastic change to be a significant resolution.
Find a resolution partner!
All resolutions are easier to stick to when you have someone to hold you accountable! Best case scenario, find someone who has the same goal as you and help each other out! Send reminders and fulfill those resolutions together! If you want to eat healthier in the new year, maybe you can go grocery shopping with a fellow mom and share fun, healthy recipes with each other! Keep it exciting to encourage yourself to keep going.

Now, it’s time to pick your mommy resolutions! If you don’t already have one in mind, here are a few of our suggestions:
- Have at least one self care day a week to destress and boost your mood
- Use the phone less and have more face-to-face interactions with your friends
- Have at least 2-4 date night’s a month with your significant other
- Drink more water
- Save enough money for a family trip
- Stress less- realize the little things are just that, and everything will be okay
